There is no required texbook for the course. Recommended texts are as follows:"Complex Analysis" by Theodore W. Gamelin, Springer;
"Functions of One Complex Variable I" by J. Conway;
"The Theory and Practice of Conformal Geometry" by Steven G. Krantz, Dover, 2016;
"Function Theory of One Complex Variable" by R. Greene and S. Krantz;

Mathematics 3124 or equivalentEvaluation:
Homework = 50%, Midterm=20%, Final examination = 30%.Content:
We will cover the following topics: Mobius tranformations, The Argument Principle, Runge's theorem, Montel's theorem, the Riemann mapping theorem, Caratheodory's theorem. Time permitted, we may also cover some advanced topics at the end of the courseHomework
Homework will be assigned on a regular basis and will include routine exercises as well as some challenging problems. Students registered in Math 9056 will be given additional problems.

Exams
- There will be an in-class Midterm on October 24 (mark your calendar now!)
- The Final Exam will be on Sunday, December 10, 10 AM - 1 PM. Location TC 202. The exam covers the material of the whole course.
