Several Complex Variables - Fall 2009

Presentation: Every graduate student will give an in-class presentation on a topic arranged with the instructor. Possible topics for presentation:

  1. Weierstrass preparation theorem (Mahboobeh, 9:30 AM, Dec. 11)
  2. Envelopes of holomorphy (Zack, 9:30 AM, Dec 3)
  3. Proof of Hartogs' theorem on separate analyticity (Hadi, 10:30 AM, Dec 3)
  4. Complex manifolds: complex structure, tangent/cotangent bundle, etc. (Sarab, 9:30 AM, Dec. 8)

Evaluation:

  1. Homework = 70%,
  2. Presentation = 30%
